Design Contest - Please Vote for Me!

…Me!

All I can say is Wow! I am completely thrilled, and very pleasantly surprised to find out that I’m the winner of 5 Minutes for Mom’s Ultimate Blog Party Design Contest!

I know that I had the voting help of a lot of friends and family, and hopefully a few of my readers here as well. Thank you so much for those of you that voted!

To be honest, I didn’t think I stood a chance, because the comments on the original design contest post did not seem to favor me at all.

Apparently it was a very tight race, though - I won by ONE, yes 1 point. LOL.

There were a lot of great designs posted in the contest, so again, I’m thrilled to be the “official” designer for this year’s Blog Party!

I submitted several different sizes, but the two official banners are below. I’ll be creating a few more sizes for these - including the “Welcome” banner for the event itself. I hope that you get involved with the Utimate Blog Party - it sounds like a lot of fun!

Thanks again to everyone who voted for me - you’ve certainly made my day! And special thanks to From the Park Bench for encouraging me to enter the contest in the first place!

Edit: Here are the final banners that were submitted after some slight modification…

I voted for you! I don’t think I’ve been to your site before, but I loved the bright pink with black. I almost voted for one that was brown & pink, funny if I did, there would have been a tie :)

@Joshua - LOL, so it was YOU who pushed my vote over the edge! Thank you so much!!! :)

As a side note, and obviously in reference to much more important voting going on right now… This only goes to show what a difference just one vote can make!

No matter who you are rooting for in the upcoming elections, I urge you all to go out and vote!

And that is my public service announcement for the day. ;)
