Happy Easter

Wishing everyone a very Happy Easter!

I’m getting ready for an Easter egg hunt with my little one. I’m looking forward to her excitement over it! She’s had a great time so far this morning, with all of the surprises the Easter Bunny left for her this morning.

I hope your day is equally as fun!

Hey Selene, I just saw your post added to CSS Globe. Nice article!

I also saw your post about Easter, and I was wondering if you celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. Would love to hear your thoughts on it…

    Thanks for the great article!

@Spencer - Thanks for checking out my blog - I’m glad you like the article!

I am Catholic and we do celebrate the deeper meaning behind Easter (more than just the Easter Bunny, lol). Although it is difficult to try to explain to a two year old. I know she didn’t grasp the true meaning of Christmas, although she at least knows the name Baby Jesus - that’s as far as it goes with her for now, though. :)

Maybe next year she’ll be a bit more ready to understand, but for now we’ve had to focus on the more superficial aspects of the holidays.

Oh, that’s great. I know what you mean about teaching your 2 year old. My wife and I don’t have any kids yet, but when we do, I’m sure we’ll do the same thing until they reach the age where they can process the deeper meaning behind it all, by God’s grace.

    Thanks for sharing.
