@ShariV – Thanks for the nice comments on my design! The previous one was a free template. I liked it a lot, but it was nothing I could take credit for.

You know, I haven’t heard the term Work at Home Grandma, but they’ve got to exist! I’m sure there are quite a few, actually.

I’m sorry to hear that your granddaughter is sick – I hope she gets better soon! That’s wonderful that you are able to help out! There really are so many joys and benefits from working at home!

I’m not sure if I ever saw your old design, but this one looks great! It has a fresh, vibrant quality to it.

Is there such a thing as a Work at Home Grandma? I had just a taste of that today because my two-year old granddaughter was too sick for daycare. I hate it that she’s sick, but thoroughly enjoyed having her with me. It’s a blessing to work from home and have the option to pitch in when needed.

@Joshua – thanks for the suggestion! I do have the default subscribe to this entry text, but it probably doesn’t stand out enough. It is also just for RSS, not for email. I’ll look into making this more prominent, as well as the plugin for the subscribe to comments via email.

@Michael – thanks for the kind words on my blog design! I’ll be sure to drop you a note when I’m all done with my tweaking. I’d love to hear your thoughts then, as well.

Personally, I love the Subscribe to Comments plugin. It makes it much easier for me to participate in the conversation. Just check the box and I get a copy of every comment left after that point.
