As for me – I’ll be honest that I was a bit of a slacker as far as my own goals in December. With the holidays, as well as an influx of new clients wanting to get sites out in time for the new year, my own goals fell to the back-burner.

For the specifics…

1. I wrote 1 of 3 guest posts, better than nothing, I suppose! That guest post is over on Freelance Folder, btw, if you’d like to have a read! 15 Incredible WordPress Theme Customizations.

2. I unfortunately did not even touch on this item (analyze existing client trends). This is definitely an item you will see re-surfacing in a future “Just Three Things” posts, but hopefully with a more productive outcome!

3. I’d consider this item about 50% complete – I have a general gameplan for the year – see the lastest post in the series, “Just Three Things – 2009 Resolutions”. I have a general idea of when I’d like to have some of the specific steps completed, but I do not have a finalized month-by-month plan for the entire year. This is something to be tackled soon, most likely in January!

2. Finish up my baby, http://www.theboxcat.com so that I can start getting people’s random ideas

3. Implement my redesign tweaks for safetygoat.co.uk

2. Start/Finish my two personal websites; helloimtom (lifestream) and tomsinclair (Portfolio & Personal blog)

3. Read a lot more, sketch a lot more, spend less time on the computer when I’m not doing something productive!

The third one is really 3-in-1 but they all lead into one thing; keeping myself active when not working and not wasting time doing nothing.

2.Reduce overall time on Twitter, and spend time elsewhere commentating and writing more for IJC and WAJC. I don’t mean drastically cut time, but I need to focus more on how and when to use Twitter during each day as it is so very important to me.

3.Devise a marketing plan for local clients that has nothing to do with global domination.

1. plan marketing strategy , set small goals and steps to achieve. improve in account maintaining & general legal practices.

2. concentrate on design and study of latest trends. Design more and more, following good practices – artists.

3. keep an eye that i don’t fail in goal no 1. & no 2.

My three would be:

1. Finally get a monthly company newsletter going to market more to current clients and building those relationships further.

2. My company is sponsoring a few charity events this month, so I guess number 2 should be to do good networking at these.

3. Create a list of all goals for 2009. Some may be a little unrealistic, but you gotta shoot for the moon!

2. Finalize the explanations of my new service levels
