Who We Are
iDesign Studios was officially founded in 2001 by web designer and front-end web developer, Selene M. Bowlby.
Currently located in Florida, iDesign Studios got it's start in
St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands in 1994, when it was first known as Innovative Designs. Originally intended as nothing more than a creative outlet for personal projects,
iDesign Studios has since evolved into a full service web design company.

With ten years of professional experience in the design industry, Selene has developed a unique design style as well as a strong attention to detail that will help you create a successful web site.
However, a successful web site needs more than just a good design...
- First, a successful web site must be built with the end-user in mind - these are, after all, the people who will be learning about your service or buying your product. A good user interface creates an easy to navigate web site, and is the basis for this.
- On the technical front, a successful web site requires an understanding of front-end web development. This involves writing valid XHTML / CSS code that complies to current web standards, maximizing functionality, as well as accessibility for as large an audience as possible;
- Most importantly, however, a successful web site involves a solid understanding of the company it is created for. It involves a good understanding of you - what your business goals and dreams are, and how the web can be utilized to help you achieve those goals.
