UPrinting 1000 Business Card + Canvas Print Giveaway!

UPrinting

Update: The contest has ended – winners announced below!

It’s sometimes difficult to believe how quickly time flies…

One year ago today, I took the plunge towards running my own web design business full time, by giving my two weeks notice at work. In two short weeks, I’ll officially be celebrating the one year anniversary of being a full time freelancer!

To commemorate this milestone, I’m hosting a giveaway!

I was approached last summer by UPrinting with an offer for free business card printing, in exchange for a sponsored review. Just starting out on my own full time, it was perfect timing for a new set of business cards to help promote my business.

UPrinting has contacted me again with a similar offer – but this time I’m able to give back to my readers by offering a giveaway!

What You Can Win

  • One reader will win 1,000 FREE custom size business cards
  • One reader will win 1 FREE 18×24 rolled canvas print

How to Enter

You can enter in one of two ways…

  • Leave a comment at the end of this blog post, describing what you would use the free business cards and/or canvas print for. This gets you 1 entry.

– or –

  • Write a post on your blog, linking back to this post and to www.uprinting.com -  then leave a comment here linking to your own post. This gets you 2 entries – twice the chance to win!

Contest Rules

  • Comments will be open until June 13, 2009 at 4:00pm (GMT-4)
  • You must include your real name and email address with your comment, so that we can contact you if you’re the winner

I would love to win either prize. Uprinting is where I ordered my last batch of business cards, and they are fantastic, and those banners look awesome, and would be nice when I am out at events around town.

My business cards have a game on the back, so I’d use them to give them out both as business cards and to anyone who wants a free game if I had 1000 free ones!

Congrats on your almost one year anniversary!

I know how you feel – I graduate this summer with my AAS in Web Design, and I’m going out unemployed into the freelance web designer pool. I’d love to have 1000 business cards to help get myself off the ground, and promote myself as a great graphic designer.

I’m also starting my own Etsy custom banner design shop, and am thinking of selling business cards to users. If I get 1000 cards from UPrinting, I’d definitely go back to them for my orders!

    Congrats!

I would use the business cards to promote my own freelance business that I have recently started, because business cards are the most important item a business person can have. I would especially like to get them from UPrinting because of the quality of print they can do.

This might sound weird but I’d use them for allergy business cards. It’s a business card that lists my kids food allergies and details. Then when we eat at a restaurant I can just hand them to the server to give to the chef. Instead of having to give the entire run down to someone who might not even pass it on correctly.

  • Jeff Rivers

Happy anniversary! I’d love to win this giveaway…

I would use these to print cards for a friend.

    Hi,

I have been following you since the start, and can’t believe it has been a year since you started out, wow time has flown. So congratulations on that :)

Now onto why I want to win this? I want to win this so I can follow in your footsteps and become a freelancer, I am pondering upon that now, so this would be ideal, so I can’t start out my business properly with business cards.

So fingers crossed, and good luck with the future and stuff.

    Regards
    Craig Farrall

  • Patricia Davidson

Congratulations on your one year anniversary! Keep up the good work!

I would love to win as I need new cards.

    Regards,
    Pat :)

Congrat for you freelance first year anniversary!

With that cool giveaway, I would like to get my first cards ever. I’m a ending student in multimedias and it could be a nice time to get some cool cards free.

    Thx alot

I’ve love to get new business cards for my freelance business. The last ones didn’t turn out great and I need to start passing them out more.

  • http://matthaltom.com Matt Haltom

Selene Congrats on making it one year! My one year of freelance work is actually in 3 days!!!!! WOO Way to go us.

If I was picked to win, I would use the business cards toward my little side project The Local Happy Hour. I need to get out and meet restaurant and bar owners to promote the site once it is ready. Unfortunately I’m still a college student for 1.5 months and I’m still living off nickels & dimes. :P
